March 22, 2016 | Glass News

GPI is pleased to announce the issuance of grants to American Recycling of Western North Carolina, located in the greater Asheville area, and to the Sonoco Recycling facility in Raleigh.  The grant money will be used to supplement American and Sonoco's ongoing investments towards improving glass recycling at their materials recovery facilities (MRFs).  Both MRFs have also been awarded matching grants from the North Carolina Department of the Environmental Quality (NC DEQ), to further support their glass recycling efforts.
